What we collect, and why.

What we collect

• Account data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We never see your Google password.
• Usage data — the stocks you analyse, portfolio positions, watchlist entries, price targets, and learning-assistant conversations, stored so the product works across sessions.
• Local data — theme and density preferences live in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.

What we do with it

Your data is used solely to operate IQInvest: saving your portfolio, restoring your history, and evaluating your price targets. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing without your consent.

Third parties

Market-data requests are made by our servers to third-party financial data providers; your identity is not attached to those requests. Google OAuth is used solely for authentication.

Retention & deletion

Data is retained while your account is active. To delete your account and everything associated with it, email support@iqinvest.in from your registered address and we will remove it within 30 days.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sessions are cookie-based and expire on logout. No payment or banking credentials are ever collected — IQInvest cannot execute trades or move money.
